REGISTERED CONSIGNEE
Allied to our REDS registration PJ Shipping Ltd are also authorised Registered Consignee.
To receive shipments through the new EMCS (Excise Movement & Control System) a trader has to be a Registered Consignee or as a Registered Consignee we can act on your behalf.
This allows EMCS e-AD documents/consignments to be consigned to us.
We will issue release notes to your suppliers to call shipments forward against our authorisation and can also via our registration arrange for the delivery point to tie in with your own requirements. This may be your own warehouse or directly to your customer provided all of the required control aspects are maintained and payment of charges due is secured.
REGISTERED CONSIGNOR
In addition to being authorised Registered Consignee we are also authorised as a Registered Consignor allowing us to produce e-ADs for movements from UK ports through to Bonded and Tax warehouses. Since January 2011 under EMCS (Excise Movement & Control System) e-ADs are required to be completed on arrivals from countries outside the EU for wines, beers and spirits that are travelling forward to UK warehouse under bond procedures. The e-AD documents are required in addition to the import entry for wet products under warehousing regimes.
